In 1997, at the age of three or four, I created my first conscious drawing—a grotesque portrait, possibly of myself or someone around me—inside an illustrated encyclopedia called “History 1”. What makes it unique is that I’ve kept it to this day, an unusual thing in the artist’s world. It marks the very beginning of my artistic journey, captured in an unexpected place.
