JERIHON

This art piece is inspired by a landscape I imagine near Yerevan, one of the oldest cities in the world. Using a wet-on-wet technique, the composition is placed on a long, linear canvas with unique proportions. The central element is a totemic figure resembling a lamb, surrounded by the symbolic city walls of Yerevan.

Dynamic brush movements and light layers blend earthy and bluish tones, while alphabet symbols and Arabic numbers, along with Hebrew letters, add depth and cultural significance. The piece combines colors, textures, and symbols to create a timeless representation of both the landscape and the city.
