In 2019, I created a unique sketchbook in Sarajevo, driven by a personal need for a functional and visually connected space for my everyday drawings and sketches. I couldn’t find a sketchbook that resonated with me both physically and visually, so I decided to make my own. Using leftover paper sheets I had at home, I collaborated with a friend who worked at a copy station to create the first version of the book. I incorporated various paints, images, and elements into the design, creating a collage effect on the covers. When I saw the finished product, I immediately knew I had something special—something that wasn’t just useful for me but could also resonate with others. The first collection I produced in 200 copies, and it was immediately sold in just 7 days. After that, I created different collections, including special editions, as well as corporate materials for festivals and businesses. I also began creating personalized sketchbooks, each made as a one-of-a-kind item specifically for the person who ordered it, and I have made over 100 of these personalized books. Along the way, I created another collection inspired by my first sketchbook, featuring handmade collage covers, and produced in a limited edition of 20 pieces. Every piece in that collection was unique. The point of the sketchbook is that it is made to be used every day, to be a part of your life, a personalized item that is as much about utility as it is about self-expression.
