Under the Dome is a custom-made artwork created for a local café run by my close friend. The café is part of a cultural institution housed in a former Sephardic temple, a space rich in history and significance. Designed specifically for this setting, the painting reflects the spiritual and atmospheric energy of the place. It portrays a mystical desert landscape, incorporating architectural motifs and alphabet elements—holy names of Allah written in Arabic—woven into the composition. The piece carries a sense of melancholy, freshness, and sacredness, evoking the quiet mysticism of a temple in the desert. With its layered depth and symbolic elements, this is one of my most meaningful paintings in recent years.
